Buyer-timing guide (honest, data-grounded)
There's no fixed date, but there's a SUPPLY pattern. Account prices tend to soften: (1) 1–3 weeks after a season reset — many sellers offload accounts & rank-based value dips briefly; (2) 2–4 weeks after collab-event hype fades — the FOMO premium evaporates; (3) when many similar listings compete — more room to negotiate. Conversely, avoid buying right when a new skin/collab drops (premium price). Important: this is a market tendency, NOT a guarantee — accounts with rare skins can stay expensive anytime because supply is genuinely scarce.
1–3 weeks after a season reset
When a new season starts, accounts whose value comes mostly from rank (Mythic/Glory/Immortal) look "less flashy" briefly because their rank reset, and some sellers offload. Supply rises → easier to negotiate. Season 41 is scheduled to end ~16 September 2026 (estimate).
2–4 weeks after collab-event hype fades
While a collab event (Naruto, KOF, Sanrio, Transformers, etc.) is hot, accounts with those skins often spike on FOMO. Wait for the hype to fade — sellers get realistic again and prices settle to a fair level.
When many similar listings compete
The more accounts with similar specs appear (often end-of-month / after a big event), the softer prices get as sellers compete. Compare a few listings before making an offer.
Market benchmark (honest): across 201 ZenVan account sales, the median price is ~Rp1.25 million (range Rp200k – Rp40 million). Good timing can put you on the cheaper side of that range — but this is a tendency, NOT a guarantee. Accounts with rare/Collector skins can stay expensive anytime because supply is genuinely scarce. Timing helps most for mid-tier accounts with plenty of supply; if you find a rare account that fits + is safe, secure it rather than wait (someone else will grab it).

Most often when supply is high: 1–3 weeks after a season reset, 2–4 weeks after collab-event hype fades, and when many similar listings compete (often end-of-month). Those are the windows where sellers negotiate most easily. But there's no official "discount date" — it's about supply patterns, not a promo.
It tends to — BUT only for accounts whose value comes mostly from rank. When rank resets, Mythic/Glory accounts look "ordinary" briefly and sellers soften. Accounts valued for rare SKINS/Collector barely move — the skins stay on the account, so the price holds. Season 41 is scheduled to end ~16 September 2026 (estimate, may change).
For price, AFTER (2–4 weeks) is better — once hype fades, the FOMO premium drops and prices get realistic. Exception: if you want a specific collab skin and fear it'll sell out (many collabs are limited), buying during the event can be worth the premium.
There's no official "discount date" like e-commerce — accounts are second-hand peer-to-peer items, not store stock. There are only supply patterns (season reset, post-event, end-of-month). Be careful if someone offers a "big discount" on a whale account — an unreasonably low price is often a scam/hackback red flag.
As a market benchmark: across 201 ZenVan account sales, the median price is around Rp1.25 million (range Rp200k – Rp40 million, depending on skins & rank). Good timing can put you on the cheaper side of that range — but rarity of skins + account condition still decide the price most. For a per-account estimate, use the MLBB Account Price Calculator.
