Negotiation tips — from a real seller
Keys to negotiating an MLBB account: (1) know the market price first so your offer is reasonable (not a random lowball); (2) negotiate in high-supply windows — after a season reset or once collab-event hype fades, sellers are more flexible; (3) bargain on COMPLETENESS (full-access/monsep? unbindable? warranty? full history?), not just the number; (4) compare a few listings for leverage. From a seller's side, honestly: a fair, polite, serious offer (escrow-ready, pays fast) almost always beats a brutal lowball. And beware — an unreasonable "big discount" is often a scam trap, not a bargain.

Want a clear, safe price upfront?
At ZenVan prices are transparent + every account is covered by 30-day anti-hackback ZenGuard, so you needn't worry about too-cheap traps.
Four steps: (1) research the market first (other listings + calculator); (2) negotiate when supply is high (after a season reset / post-event); (3) bargain on the account's gaps (not full monsep / no warranty = discount reasons); (4) show you're serious & escrow-ready. A fair, polite offer succeeds far more than a brutal lowball.
There's no fixed number — it depends on the seller, the account's condition, and how long it's been listed. A modest discount is reasonable when there's a real reason (above-market price, missing completeness). Lowballing too hard makes sellers walk. The rule: your offer should stay reasonable vs the market price, not arbitrarily low.
When supply is high: 1–3 weeks after a season reset, 2–4 weeks after collab-event hype fades, and when many similar listings compete (often end-of-month). Sellers are most flexible then. More on the "When is the best time to buy" page.
Be careful. An unreasonably low price (especially for an account with many rare skins) is often a red flag: scam, stolen account, or hackback. Instead of chasing "cheap," verify the account is monsep + unbindable + the seller can prove ownership, and ALWAYS use escrow. More on the "Is it safe to buy" page.
From selling experience: serious, polite, escrow-ready buyers who pay fast almost always get flexibility more easily. Other factors: accounts that have been listed a while, or minor gaps (incomplete heroes/emblems). What turns sellers OFF: brutal lowballs, time-wasting, or asking to transfer outside escrow.
